Christopher A. Johnson

Christopher A. Johnson is SVP and Head of Capital Markets at ECN Capital Corp. For the past 14 years, Mr. Johnson has held leadership positions in specialty finance, as a capital markets and credit markets professional and as a portfolio manager on the buy side. Prior to 2010, Mr. Johnson spent a decade at Deutsche Bank Securities including as Head of the Restructuring Advisory Group, Co-Head of Global Media Investment Banking, and Co-Head of Telecom Americas Investment Banking. Prior thereto, Mr. Johnson worked at Merrill Lynch, including as Co-Head and Chairman of the Global Leveraged Finance Group. He has an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia, and a B.S. (cum laude) from Washington and Lee University; at the Darden School, he was a William Michael Shermet scholar. Prior to receiving his MBA, Mr. Johnson served as a Lieutenant (USN) on a fast attack nuclear submarine (USS Finback – SSN 670), in which he qualified in all categories, including Naval Reactors, as a line officer.
